Hey everyone!
Today is the fourth and final day of the October release from Winnie & Walter, and it ends with another fabulous trio of stamp sets (or stampets as they have been affectionately termed!).
Day 4 is for an adorable group of sets: Stampets: Penguins, Stampets: The Gift and Stampets: Turkey. Each of these features cute little critter images. Here’s my card:
I began by stamping The Peppermint Zone background image onto a kraft card base with black ink from Simon Says Stamp. Almost straight away, I brushed the stamped areas with Perfect Pearls – you’re left with this awesome faux metallic look!
I flicked some Tarnished Brass Distress Stain onto the card base for some added interest, stamped a greeting from the Stampets: Penguin set and put the card to one side while I worked on the focal image.
I stamped the penguin and his scarf onto a piece of white cardstock and then coloured them in with Distress Inks. Then they were then fussy cut out and foam mounted to the centre of the card.
To finish, I stamped a greeting beneath the Peppermint Zone image. This set has perfectly sized, small greetings that can work on both cards and tags!
I hope you get a chance to check out the projects from Julie and Shay on the Winnie & Walter blog, and the rest of the Winnie & Walter talent.
More details can be found here for the chance to win all of the Winnie & Walter October Release!
