MFT September Release – New Product Launch

Hey there! Thanks for joining me for the My Favorite Things September Release New Product Launch!

New Product Launch

Today, I am sharing two cards with you – one featuring the Stitched Oval Frame Die-Namics and one showcasing the Fleur de Lis Background – I used them separately, but I think they could also work quite well together! Both cards were created using some ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens – here’s the card that features the Stitched Oval Frames:

I basically die-cut a few of these ovals out of some white cardstock, and loosely watercoloured them with the ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens.

I then arranged the oval rings on a card front, making a few snips along the way to make it look like some rings were interlocked with others.

When I was satisfied with the arrangement, I foam mounted the rings to the card front, and trimmed off any excess.

I stamped some of the images from the Soda Pop set with black dye ink – the sentiment was stamped onto a strip of black cardstock, sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat set. To finish, I adhered a few sequins.

Here’s the card that features the Fleur de Lis Background:

I love how the background came together so quickly – I began by stamping the Fleur de Lis pattern with Versamark ink onto a piece of white cardstock and heat set with white embossing powder.

I then swiped a rainbow selection of ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens along the top of the cardstock, down to about a quarter of the way down. I then spritzed liberally with a solution of Perfect Pearls and water.

The water reacts beautifully with the markers and blends the colours together so well, while trickling down the card.

I trimmed the inky panel down with the largest frame die from Blueprints 25 and adhered it down to a card base. I then die-cut the Streetlights Die-Namics out of some black cardstock, and adhered one of them down to the card.

I stamped one of the words from Label Maker Sentiments onto a scrap piece of cardstock, fussy cut out and tucked it behind the street light.

I would never have thought of using the oval Die-namics in this way… Must root around my dies to see if I can use this technique with some of them! Love your second card too, great drips!
