Hello there!
Today is the fourth day of the May release from Neat & Tangled, and its a beauty!
Day 4 is for the Dimensional Triangles Cover Plate and here’s my card:
Although this card took a while to put together, I had so much fun creating the background! I grabbed a large sheet of YUPO paper, and started dripping various shades of Dylusions Ink Sprays down, spreading them around with a brush. I also added some metallic paints for some sparkle!
When you’re working on YUPO paper with watcolour or inks, the results don’t seem as intensive as alcohol inks, but do persevere, as the results can surprise you! Once I’d finished adding more ink to my YUPO paper I set it aside to dry overnight.
Once dry, I cut out a piece that was big enough for my A2 sized card base, and adhered it to a piece of white cardstock for stability. I then used the Dimensional Triangles Coverplate to die-cut the wonderful, geometric design out, and foam mounted each piece onto a white card base.
I stamped a sentiment from another new set, Complementary Colors, onto a piece of black cardstock, and heat embossed in white. I foam mounted the sentiment to the card front and added some sequins to finish off.
I hope you’re enjoying the May Release so far! Be sure to visit the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created – all the sets that we are showcasing this week will be released on Friday, 11 May at 8am EST in the shop!
Thanks for looking 😉
