Runway Inspired Challenge #65

Hello there!

This week’s Runway Inspired Challenge is extra special because its being sponsored by Altenew – yay! That means the DT used Altenew stamp designs on their projects, so you’re in for a treat 😉 Here’s the inspiration photo:

And here’s what I came up with:

I began by trimming down a piece of pattern paper and adhering it to my card base. I thought the colours from this particular design matched the gorgeous yellow hues from the inspiration photo.

I stamped some of the images from Hennah Elements with Versamark onto vellum, and heat embossed in white to echo the style of the shirt worn by the model. On a piece of white cardstock, I painted a really soft wash of yellow to pick up on her trousers. Both pieces were trimmed and adhered to the card base.

I can’t seem to get enough of the Big Hello die from Simon Says Stamp and foam mounted a die-cut to the card. I also stamped a sentiment from the same set in Versafine Onxy Black ink. There’s a few pink gemstones to finished off – if you look closely, it seems like the model is wearing this colour underneath the really pretty shirt…
