Hello everyone!

Welcome to the start of January release week for Neat & Tangled!

For Day 1, I’m showcasing the new Wholehearted Cover Plate die – you’ll love this unique design because when you use the die, not only do you cut the main design, but you also get some die-cut hearts for your stash!

I had to pair the die-cut piece with a vibrant background, but I didn’t want to cover too much of it up, so I trimmed some of it off before foam mounting to the colourfull panel.

The background was simply created by using Dyslusions Ink Sprays on some watercolour cardstock. I trimmed this down to slightly smaller than my card base and stamped a sentiment from Heart of Gold with Versamark ink, sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat set. This was then adhered it straight down to the card front.

The Wholehearted Cover Plate was die-cut out of some white cardstock and trimmed at an angle. I folded the hearts open and then foam mounted to the card front.

To finish the design, I added a gold heart to one of the apertures – the heart die from Scored Shapes worked brilliantly for this!

I also adhered a few sequins from the Sunset Shimmer Mix to tie everything together! Pop by the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created – all the sets that we are showcasing this week will be available from Friday, 22 January at 8am EST in the shop!

Thanks for stopping by 😉
