Hello there and welcome to this week’s Runway Inspired Challenge! We have another awesome inspiration photo and the chance to win a prize from Ellen Hutson

Here’s my card:

This started as more of an experiment, after I’d watched a wonderful technique by Dawn Woleslagle on the Stretch Your Stamps 2 Online Card Class – you really should check this class out – its *awesome*! I grabbed some Simon Says Stamp inks in colours matching the inspiration photo, some white cardstock and the Papertrey Ink Rosie Posie stamp set to create this collage of tumbling flowers…

I used the Rosie Posie Step 2 Stamp Set to pick out the highlights on the flowers with Delicata Golden Glitz – here’s a close up:

I die-cut the sentiment using the Little B Block Out dies from the stamped panel and also from some navy cardstock so that they could be stuck together to create one thicker die-cut element.

I trimmed the stamped panel and adhered it straight down onto a navy card base – the thicker letters were then inlaid back into their co-ordinating spots on to the card front.

To finish, I added a few sequins and some wood veneer stars which were coated with black enamel accents.

Be sure to stop by the Runway Inspired Challenge blog for more inspiration from the rest of the DT members!
