Neat & Tangled March Release, Day 4

Hello there!

Today is the fourth day of the March release from Neat & Tangled, and its a beauty!

Day 4 is for the Squares and Chevrons Cover plate and here’s my first card:

For this card, I did a little bit of inlaid die-cutting, by running the Squares and Chevrons coverplate once through a watercolour background and once through some copper foil cardstock.

I adhered some parts of the watercolour background die-cut pieces straight down onto the card base, while other parts were foam mounted. The copper foil pieces were all foam mounted in place.

I flicked a few gold ink drops onto the card front once everything was in place and moved onto the sentiment. This comes from the Hello Spring set that was showcased earlier in the week.

I white heat embossed the ‘Hello’ onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it to the card front and then die-cut the co-ordinating ‘Spring’ sentiment several times from white cardstock and adhered them all together to make a thicker embellishment. Once dry, this was also adhered to the card front.

To finish off, I added some colourful sequins.

I hope you’re enjoying the March Release so far! Be sure to visit the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created – all the sets that we are showcasing this week will be released on Friday, 9 March at 8am EST in the shop!

Thanks for looking 😉

WOW! That background is awesome! Love the idea of popping some pieces up and leaving others flat…gives the card great dimension! I also love the bright and bold colors…great card!!
