Neat & Tangled March Release, Day 3: Friendly Florals

Hello, hello!

It’s the third day of the Neat & Tangled March release, and we are showcasing some fabulous products!

Day 3 is for the Friendly Florals stamp and die set – a greate design, with endless possibilities!

Here’s my card:

For this card I used some of the dies to create my own coverplate-style design – I arranged a few of them together and die-cut them a few times out of a panel of white cardstock. This is a great way to stretch your dies!

Once I was happy, I set the panel aside and worked on a smaller watercolour panel to sit behind the die-cut piece. I simply brush a piece of cardstock with water and added drops of paint, moving them around until they blended and created something I was happy with.

I heat set and trimmed this piece down before adhering it to a a white card base. I then foam mounted the die-cut piece on top.

I white heat embossed a sentiment from the set onto a piece of black cardstock and foam mounted it to the card front. To finish, I sprinkled with a few sequins.

Pop by the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created – all the sets that we are showcasing this week will be available in the shop from Friday, 9 March at 8am EST!

Thanks for looking 🙂

What a gorgeous background….really love the bold, vibrant colors you chose! And what a great idea to use our dies as a cover plate…love it!!
