Hello there!

Today is the fourth day of the January release from Neat & Tangled, and its a beauty!

Day 4 is for the Dazzling and Koalifications stamp sets, and they are absolutely fabulous, especially if you want to create quick, clean and simple cards!

I’m showcasing the Dazzling stamp set, and here’s my first card:

For this card, I stamped the image of the crystals with Versamark ink onto a panel of black cardstock. I also stamped a sentiment and some additional stars from the Wishing you Love set.

I then brushed over some Gold Perfect Pearls all over the panel so that it would adhere to the sticky ink. I removed the excess mica powder using a dryer sheet – this seems to pick up all the stray particles!

I flicked a few gold ink drops onto the panel before heat setting and trimming down to slightly smaller than my kraft card base. I foam mounted it to the card front and finished off with a few gold sequins.

I think the black and gold makes such a great combination!

Here’s my second card:

Again, another quick and simple card – this time I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto a panel of white cardstock, and added the sentiment and extra stars in the same way as the first card.

But this time, I coloured the tops of the crystals with gold paint. I also added gold paint ink droplets and heat set the panel before trimming it down to smaller than my card base.

I foam mounted the panel down to another kraft card base and adhered a few more gold sequins to finish off.
