Hey everyone!
Thanks for joining me at the start of February release week for Winnie & Walter! Today is the premiere of In Bloom: Eva’s Favorite Flowers, In a Word: Kisses Cutaway and Scenery: Pattern of the Rings Creative Screenings. Here’s my card:
I began by creating a background panel with the Scenery: Pattern of the Rings Creative Screenings / stencil and some Dylusions Ink Sprays – I simply applied the ink to a large acrylic block and stamped it onto a piece of watercolour paper through the stencil. I smooshed the block around a little to get the inks moving, removed the stencil and heat set the panel.
I then stamped onto the panel with images from In Bloom: Eva’s Favorite Flowers with black dye ink. I filled in some of the open areas with a white gel pen for a bit of contrast. I then trimmed the panel down to the same size as my card base and die-cut a circle from the centre.
I stamped a sentiment from a set being showcased later this week onto a white card base, coloured in the heart and foam mounted the inky panel. From the same set, I also stamped the cute bird image and coloured it in with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
I fussy cut the bird out and foam mounted it to the card front.
