MFT November Release – Card 5

Hello there!

Just popping by to share one final card using product from the MFT November Release:

How quickly did this come together?! Well, I literally swiped several Distress Ink cubes onto the Bold Diagonal Stripes Background, spritzed with water, and stamped onto a panel of white cardstock. That’s how quickly 😉

Misting a bit of water really helped the ink move a little, and also helped me get a decent impression – I don’t mind that its not crisp, as that wasn’t the look I was going for…

I trimmed the panel out and stamped a sentiment from Hand Lettered Holiday with black dye ink into the top right hand corner. I then adhered the panel straight down onto a white card base.

I used the two largest dies from the Stitched Star STAX Die-Namics to die-cut a star several times out of white cardstock. I adhered them all together to make a thicker embellishment and then brushed on lots of Gold Wink of Stella.

I adhered the star to the card front, and then covered it with Glossy Accents. Then waited ages for it to dry, but the result is so shiny and sparkly! To finish, I added a couple of clear sequins.

Thanks for stopping by!
