Runway Inspired Challenge #94

Hello there and welcome to this week’s Runway Inspired Challenge! We have another awesome inspiration photo and the chance to win a prize from Ellen Hutson!

Here’s my card:

This card came together really quickly – I used the model’s dress as a starting point and began by stamping the Lace Background from My Favorite Things with white pigment ink onto a panel of kraft cardstock. I then sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat set.

I foam mounted the panel to a white card base and then die-cut a butterfly from the Lace Flutter of Butterflies, also by My Favorite Things, out of black cardstock. I punched a smaller butterfly from the same black cardstock and adhered both to the card front.

The sentiment was cobbled together from a cork shape out of the Elle’s Studio Thankful set and a sticker that I had in my stash. Both were adhered together before being mounted to the card front.

Oh my gosh!! your card is gorgeous!!! The lace background embossed in white looks so elegant and delicate. Love the black butterfly, it’s the perfect accent to this lovely card.
