Hello there!

I’m over at the Neat & Tangled blog today to share a card using the Faceted stamp set along with one of my favourites, Origami Map.

I began by heat embossing the faceted image in white onto a panel of white cardstock. I then added droplets of reinkers onto a piece of acetate, spritzed with water and transferred the inky goodness to the embossed panel. I repeated the process to get the right amount of coverage…

I trimmed the panel down with a rectangle die once it had dried, and foam mounted to a white card base.

I ran the Origami Map die through my die-cutting machine with some vellum and foam mounted that to the card front, strategically placing the foam squares behind a heat embossed sentiment strip.

To finish, I added some sequins from the Mermaid Tail mix.

The sentiment comes from Origami Map – combining sentiments and images from different stamp sets means you can stretch them and get so much more mileage from them! I hope you’ll give it a go too!

Thanks for stopping by!
