It’s the third day of the Neat & Tangled May release, and we are showcasing a co-ordinating stamp and die set 😉
Here’s my card:
I began by marking some guidelines with pencil in the top right hand corner of a white card base so that I could stamp a circular pattern. I used one of the smaller, solid floral images from Paper Cut Flowers with a rainbow assortment of Distress Inks to achieve this.
After I’d stamped the pattern, I erased the pencil guidelines and set the card aside to move onto the die-cut embellishment. This was made by die-cutting the ‘hello’ twice from white cardstock and once from black. The die-cuts were all adhered together to create one thicker embellishment, with the black layer at the bottom.
The word die-cut piece was adhered directly to the card base with Glossy Accents and then I stamped a sentiment below this with black dye ink.
To finish, I adhered a few matching sequins.
Pop by the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created – all the sets that we are showcasing this week will be available from Friday, 8 May at 8am EST in the shop!
Thanks for looking 🙂
