Hello, hello!

It’s the third day of the Neat & Tangled March release, and we are showcasing a stamp set and a coverplate 😉

Day 3 is for Paris, which as you might expect, features some cute, Parisian themed images – the Eiffel Tower, some macarons…reminds me of my recent visit! There’s also the Graduated Stripes Coverplate, which I think could become a staple in anyone’s collection!

Here’s my card:

I’ve had so much fun with Dylusions Ink Sprays recently and couldn’t help bringing them back for this card – I love how vibrant they are and can make anything appear so bright and cheerful! I created the background in the same way as I did for Day 1’s card, trimmed it down to the size of my card base and adhered it straight down.

I die-cut the Graduated Stripes from a piece of white cardstock and stamped a sentiment from the Paris set with black dye ink.

This piece was then foam mounted (yes, I did painstakingly go round then entire thing with tiny bits of foam tape, especially along the skinny edges!) to the card base. I almost wanted to leave it there but decided to stamp some of the flower images onto scrap inky panels, fussy cut them out and adhere them around the sentiment.

As a final touch, I added some small, black gemstones to the centre of the flowers.

Pop by the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created – all the sets that we are showcasing this week will be available from Friday, 13 March at 8am EST in the shop!

Thanks for looking 😉
