Hello there! Time to showcase another awesome group of stamp and die sets for the Winnie & Walter January Release!
Day 2 is for the premiere of Scenery: Stripes, the Essentials: Katharine Cutaways and the In a Word Cutaways and they are all beauties! Here’s my card:
I love using graphic stamps like stripes to create backgrounds, but for this card I wanted to keep it clean and simple. I took the stamp that was made up of four thin lines from Scenery: Stripes and stamped it with four different colours.
Because the stamp is made up of fours lines, it makes it really easy to create this background, simply by staggering each impression. So, you begin by stamping with one colour, then stamp again with another colour in between the lines made in the first impression (hope that makes sense!).
I then die-cut a large square from a white panel that was the same size as the card base. I also die-cut a smaller square and stamped a sentiment from a set that will be showcased tomorrow 😉 These pieces were used to create the shaker element for my card!
I added a few sequins to the card front, and called it a day!
I hope you get a chance to check out the projects from Julie and Shay on the Winnie & Walter blog, along with the rest of the Winnie & Walter talent.
More details can be found here for the chance to win all of the Winnie & Walter January Release!
Thanks for stopping by 😉
