Winnie and Walter October Release, Day 2

Hello there! Time to showcase another awesome group of stamp sets for the Winnie & Walter October Release!

Day 2 is for Mini Scenery: Into the Woods, Scenery: Big Bang Flurries and Winter Woodland and they are all beauties! Here’s my card:

The large tree in the Winter Woodland set is absolutely fantastic for creating quick, forest backgrounds, so that’s what I did on the card front. I stamped it randomly across the front with some bright coloured Distress Inks and then with black ink in the foreground.

I created a snow bank using the curved edge die from Stitched Borders 1, inked up the edge with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, and lined with Silver Wink of Stella. The sentiment comes from the same set and was stamped in the middle of the snow bank with a small heart. This was then foam mounted to the card front.

I die-cut a deer from some gold foil metallic cardstock and foam mounted him behind the snow bank.

To finish up, I sprinkled on some sequins!

I hope you get a chance to check out the projects from Julie and Shay on the Winnie & Walter blog, and the rest of the Winnie & Walter talent.

You are on such a roll with the whole trees-on-fire look, Mayuri! Love how you just used the top part of the stamp to make the shorter trees in black. Oh, and your embossing paste card from yesterday was pretty darn awesome too : )
