Hello there! Time to showcase another awesome stamp set for the Winnie & Walter July Release! (This is my second post for today – please scroll down if you’re looking for my Pinkfresh Studio/Neat & Tangled post – thank you!)
Day 2 is for the Scenery: It’s a Wonderful Pennant stamp set and you guessed it, its all about pennants! Here’s my card:
I had so much fun with this one, as I often do when I start a card by creating a background. I began by drawing some curved lines on a piece of white cardstock to use as guides for stamping the pennants across.
Using one of the solid images from the set, I grabbed a rainbow selection of Distress Inks to stamp a continuous line of pennants, following the lines I drew earlier. I also used one of the smaller images randomly stamped pennants in Delicata Golden Glitz.
I trimmed the panel down to size and adhered to a card front before moving onto the focal element. I heat embossed the camera from The Write Stuff: Picture Perfect in white onto black cardstock and fussy cut it out. I foam mounted it to the card base on top of some bundled up cotton thread and added a sentiment from the same set.
There’s also a little wood veneer arrow from Pinkfresh Studio to finish the card…
I hope you get a chance to check out the projects from Diane Jaquay and Jenny Martin, who are our guest stars for this release as they won the Playdate No. 2 challenge, Julie and Shay on the Winnie & Walter blog, and the rest of the Winnie & Walter talent:
