Welcome to the start of July release week for Neat & Tangled!
Day 1 is for a stamp set called Gifts for You, and lemme tellya, you are going to LOVE IT! Its been designed by the enormously talented Pamela Ho and there are some really cute images.
Here’s what I came up with:
This stamp set had me smiling from ear to ear because of its cute, comic style illustrations – those little faces are adorable and means you can create a birthday card for either a girl or a boy!
I used a technique that the lovely Laura Bassen demo’d here and stamped the tiny images from the set around a circle mask. I used Hero Arts Neon Inks and then Versafine Onyx Black for the tiny hearts and the sentiment.
After I peeled away the mask, I stamped the image of the girl and added the outline of the crown on her head. I coloured her cheeks, ponytail clasps and crown with Intense pencils.
This card is almost one layer except for the twine bow added to the side of the stamped image. I like the idea of switching out the colours to make it more masculine if needs be – this set is perfect with its all-round sentiments and cutsie images!
Pop by the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created – there’s also a giveaway! All the sets that we are showcasing this week will be released on Thursday, 17 July at 8am EST in the shop!
Thanks for stopping by 😉
