CAS-ual Fridays CFC127 – Over the Edge

Hello everyone! Its time for another amazing CAS-ual Fridays Challenge and this one’s sponsored by none other than CAS-ual Fridays Stamps ;-). The idea is to create a card that has elements that extend beyond the card base – how much fun can you have with this?!! Anyway, here’s my card:

I started by using some home made spray mists and spritzing on a piece of white card stock, making sure the focal area was more saturated than the rest. Then I swiped some Distress Inks across scrap bits of card and once dry, I used the arrow die from the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Heart Board Fri-Dies set to die-cut a bunch of coloured arrows! I also die-cut the hearts from the same set out of white card and coloured a couple of them up with Delicata Golden Glitz ink.

I stamped a sentiment from the Ali Edwards Incredible set onto the spray misted panel and foam mounted to a card base at an angle, chopping off the excess. Then I adhered the arrows to the right hand side of the card so they were hanging over the edge just a little bit…

Finally, I added the gold hearts and finished up the card! Lovely jubbly!

Thanks for looking – I hope you can take a look at what the rest of the DT have been up to! Our sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, and one lucky winner gets a wonderful prize – more details are on the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog!
